TrendWatching Projects: Management 464 - 2:00 - Spring 2017 Semester

Please make your selection of your topic as a comment in response to this post. Please include your name and your specific topic in your comment. Remember, each student must pick a unique topic - and topics are first come, first served! If you have a "burning" interest in a topic already picked by one of your fellow students, please see me as I am sure there is a way to do a "one-off" topic that will meet your desires.

As for what makes for a good topic, there's a simple guideline: Your topic just needs to be a subject in which you have some degree of personal interest. It needs to be a "big picture" type trend in the macroenvironment - in technology, in the economy, in demographics, in society, in the political/legal environment, etc. - that impacts multiple industries and markets. For suggested topics, please see the list of past project topics successfully done by students at:

Good luck - and get to work!
