International Househunters comes on every week night! It is really not a bad show to watch and sometimes it is very interesting.
ReplyDeleteI watched Okja on Netflix. It is a new movie directed by Joon-ho Bong (Snowpiercer). Some parts are in English and a good bit of the film is in Korean. It's about a company that develops a new super-pig that is supposed to save the hunger crises around the world. The movie focuses on one super-pig, Okja, and her relationship with the young girl who raised her, Mija. It's a great movie that can get a little preachy at times, but is well worth the watch.
ReplyDeleteCome over to my great grandparents house if you want authentic, from the source, Filipino cuisine. My great grandparents were both born and raised in the Philippines and come the nations food here in America now. If you have not had any Filipino cuisine, hit me up, I got you covered.
ReplyDeleteI have decided to take part in a little challenge for myself. The challenge will be to order food from an authentic restaurant (which will be Greek and Indian food) then see if I can match the recipes. This will knock out four things which will be the last things for me to do.
ReplyDeleteMy family and I went to North Island in Covington for Vietnamese food. I have never had Vietnamese food before, so was not so enthused about trying something new; however, I was pleasantly surprised. I am a little skeptical of anything I cannot pronounce, but they had very good English descriptions of their menu items. I had the Con Ga Nuong Sa, char-grilled lemongrass chicken with jasmine rice. I highly recommend this restaurant.
ReplyDeleteI highly suggest going to The English Tea Room in Covington if you need one more last minute thing to add to your list. However, I advise you to make reservations in advance because it can get quite busy. Everything on the menu is quite tasty, and it has a great atmosphere!
